mate just ride. dont worry about exemptions.

i rode the 7r with 9 months on a p licence.

the only time i've been pulled up is at the front of ronsters. Just dont go there, he's on a wanted list (i think). :D

dude, no authority wants to be the first to give an exception to the rule, then see that guy rapped around a tree.
it just wont happen.

They will be hauled over the coals if that happened.

If you ride the ass of that 250, it will be pretty quick enough.

to which i have this to say

zxrarron i havent seen that you have a reason to need an exemption
or is the reason that you just want to step up to a bigger bike?

Mina instead of saying stupid things like just ride a bigger bike i did
maybe people should look at why people are limited to a smaller CC bike in the first place

from what i can see on a smaller CC big the rider can ummmm Learn to ride the bike with out excessive HP
now put a Learner/P's rider on a bike that can go 290k in 7 or 8 seconds
what do you get
i would say even higher Rego so they can pay the TAC bills

Mate all i can say is learn to ride what you got
bigger bikes will come soon enough

i agree with u lucas, and with hoffy...

they dont make u ride a 250 just cos they r pricks...its designed to help u learn on smaller bikes...
do u think rossi went str8 to 500GP???
pretty sure he started on 80cc or sumthing..then 125...then 250....

do ur time...ull live longer...
oh ..and dont listen to mina..he rode a 750cc from early on..and still cant ride newhere near fast....

yea..my point is he started small & worked his way up as his skill incresed.....wot next tho?? spaceshuttles??


and btw..krusty ferguson only just got his L's....casey stoner only got his L's a yr or 2 ago....
oh i think rossi does..he rides around england..and he drives/rides around aus when hes over here...im pretty sure he has sum kinda licence...

ok ok well firdt off the xeption wasnt for me was for my old man
he bought a new bike but wasnt licenced to ride it and yeah he wrote away a letter so ill let ya know what comes of it. was more just seeing if anyone else had tried and was succesful. as for 250. i am happy with mine but hell it will do over 200 km as it is. and yes i have ridden a 6. but yeah u can get an exemption but its all good thanks everyone

Good luck mate, never had to do an exemption letter myself, I hope your old man gets the exemption..........he used to ride a Triumph or a Beezer when he was a young bloke eh ?? :wink:
