Thanx everybody for the warm welcome and giving the thumbs up to the bike.
I gotta fess up that I took out the gsxr 1000 k5 a few months ago from Suzuki in Virginia, just to see what all the fuss was about, but while i was riding it and the guy from the shop was riding mine, all i could do was look at my bike ... (he wouldn't let me burn off
) Gotta admit the gsxr felt more planted on the bumpy roads and a bit more comfortable too... but didn't have the 'character' of a kwak!
Hope to see what the Triumph 675 is like and the new gixxer 750 in a month or so, so will write up my humble impressions on here.
Will keep my eyes peeled for ride outs organised in Brissi so I can catch up with some of you.

thanx fellas..
they say that green is the faster bike and I gotta admit when i test rode one for the first time back inthe old country, loads of people were checking out the bike.
Knew the 636 was gonna not be the most comfortable ride but when i rode her against my G1 6r the front felt so much better than the old bike and growl from the airbox had me grinning.
If I had a wish, if would be for the manners of the c1 i reckon. Maybe a powercommander would help, but i aint made of money.
Good riding!

If you want more pickup, how about changing the sprockets? I mean... who needs the back end of the 6th gear anyway?thewonderer wrote:thanx fellas..
