All firearms must be kept locked up in a locked compartment of the vehicle and depending on who you speak to, secured to the car during transport.
So if he was able to rumage around for it on the passengers floor its prob not a legal gun anyway.
Put the creep into the cops if you got his licenece plate number, its assholes like him that give normal gun owners a bad name, not to mention are dangerous to society in general and he should be arrested.
Just my two cents worth.

scary shit Shifty, you should report it, even if you only have a description of the car, if he's done it to you, good chance he's tried the same shit with others.

had a similar, well not really, experience.
pissed with a group of mates, we were in a maxi cab and he needed fuel.
so we pull up and i flick my ciggie out the window (good cabbie, didn't give a toss). it went in the general direction of another car, to which he cracked the shits, i told him to get over himself and replied with the unforgettable words, "don't fuck with me, i'm serbian and i got 9 bullets here for you" .......... TOOL

The cop seemed generally disinterested and like he had better things to do, but by the time I finished telling my story he knew I was dead serious and seemed a little like he would get someone to look into it.
