i believe so..stay away from craptimax...its garbage on bikes..even EFI bikes...
I was going to comment on the trash I’ve been reading from some in this post
And say how I’ve been a Motor Mechanic since I was a young bloke
But decided not to
Stereo it's like this
Nothing may happen running on standard 91 ULP
But it is most likely you will cause some engine damage if used in your bike
At the end of the day is it worth the saving of $1 a tank full
all I know is I run BP Ultimate 98 but if needed will only run 95 if 98 isn’t available
Lucas
TRUST ME! I'VE SEEN THIS DONE ON T.V.......
Black ZX10R 05
1958 Vespa 150
1928 A Model Tourer
I had been warned not to run Shell Optimax in fuel injected motorcycles but as I lived close to a Shell I dismissed that warning and after 3 months of Optimax my injectors became so blocked it was like riding with fouled plugs. Pulled the injectors and cleaned them of all the goo and now run Vortex or Synergy. No problems after thousands of k's. Oh yeah no motorcycle manufacturer says any amount of ethanol is ok. Apparently it loves any plastic filters.
i do find a diff in performance when using bp98 and 95. it idles smoother and runs better and plus i can get 10-20kms more out of a tank.
dont be cheap otherwise your bike might die
social security ... looking at his sig its an 03/04 zx6r and on the tank on my bike it says 'minium 95 RON' so running 91 in it is a big no no me thinks
being a tight arse at the bowser might cost u serious dollars at the mechanics when your engine starts playing up
