That new CBR is bloody horrible, a backward step, it looks more like those really really ugly early CBR 600's, spew spew spew.

I'd say that's because the figures don't look so good. With the old zx7rr, the output was less than the standard r model. Doesn't seem to be a real issue as people buying these are usually racing them in some way going to mod them anyway and so understand whats going on. What the RR models do offer are more scope for tunability in the engine, chassis, and suspension departments.
