No. A legislative change was made to allow Police motorcycles to display the plates.
TYPICAL! or is it what is called a 'variance'? which is where they get it wrong, but still get to raid your wallet.

In the mra magazine they reported that the adr people had decided motorcycles will not be required to display front plates and the proposal has been permanently dropped.
Now that's good news. :D
