If youd seen GOS fanging around EC you would not say that they are shit, they are a big bike that take a bit of muscling around but are still quick for a toura. I mean you need skill to ride one.

for the record , i have two bikes ,as you know because i told you that on saturday at e.c.
i have a '03 zx12r & a '98 zx9r.
i have raced the 9 and ridden the 12 on the track as well .
i am a big guy @ 6'3" 120 kgs and i make the 9r look small.
however for track use i pick a 9 over a 12 every time due to the greater manouverability ?( spellcheck please) of the 9 ,
and the steering of a 9 seems to be much more precise .
not forgeting that a 9 is a oiltanker when compared to a 10.
the zx12r was designed ( i believe ) as a hypersports bike designed as direct competion against the dreaded HAYABUSA (hirebus)
and the insignificantl and simply boring super blackbird.
these bikes were built not for their sporting prowess but simply as a pissing competion as to who has the fastest , most powerful simply ugly bike on the market.
the 12 is not a track bike nor is it as well suited to the track as a truly dedicated sports bike .i.e. zx10 ,r1,gsxr or even a fireblunt.
the fact that gosling can lap e.c. in 1min 50 secs on a 12 is a good effort , but he would be faster on a zx10. that is a scarey thought .
every body has an opinion about the zx12r , the bike simply polarises people , you love or hate them , you obviously love them, but it is called an opinion because it is what you believe, it aint always the facts maam!
