Well He's recieved a simple answer to his question from someone who has owned and ridden one, plus he's also had some factless shit from some turd who thinks the only bike ever built is a ZX12! I reckon it's a pretty well balanced thread this one!!!

Its good to see that the debate has lots of smiles in it :D And yep experiance with the said bike is definatly an advantage, but as some wise people mentioned try differant pressures and see what feels the best ;) Oh and dont square your tyres if possible as after riding kazzs bike to get new tyres the before and after was amazing ;)

No wonder people dont come on rides in KSRC anymore, the friendly helpfull attitude has been replaced with bitchy sarcasm..In fact I wouldn't be surprised if OZTEN doesn't come up the old road based on what he's seen in this thread..which is dissapointing as Im sure Myself, Wattie, Dave 3, Cath and Dave, if we put our heads together, could have possibly helped him out with his set up over a coffee and a ride up the old road, which is I might add the farkin benefit of being in the once great club of KSRC..but no, the bloody Victorian and SA experts wouldn't have that would they, its all too easy to criticise from 1500k's away, without having to actually rock up on the day and help out..fark no wonder we cant get anyone but the regulars to participate.
... The ONLY people who have EVER helped me out with ANYTHING on my bike have been KSRCians. Pretty much all hands-on shit or theory work in nutting out any sort of performance / fix issue was always fixed by Greeny, Plas and Neka over multiple lunches / drinks which I shouted for everyone after they scraped me off the road more than once. These people have been the most helpful I've ever met and have always gone out of their way for me.

He did post on a forum of opinions, so it's likely that's what he's going to get, not personalised interstate-travel problem diagnosis.

Jeez people are getting way to worked up bout this i would understand maybe if i was asking advice on jumping ship and buying a suzuki or somfin

I would like to thank everyone for there advice there is never going to be one right answer but from wat i have read it comes down to
1. Tyre life
2. What pressure feels good for you
so with that in mind i am going to have a play over the next few weeks and see wat differences i feel with different pressures and wat i feel comfortable with.
also gonna have a play with my suspension as i have been playing with it a bit lately so no doubt i have made a wrong adjustment somewhere and it is not working for me. Would help if i had actually recorded my adjustments along the way so i could go back to wat i had :?
And yes i have had my sag setup..
Life is too short for traffic.

Contemplate this ----- No one else did
On a current sportsbike there are at least 20 million adjustments that will make a difference to the way it handles. True fact. Think about this.
10 x Comp damping
10 x Rebound damping
10 x preload - yes I know it is variable and isn't clickable before someone shoots me down lets just assume a simple ten step system
10 x different variables ( + and - )of tyre pressure front and rear from manufacturers recomendatition
then times this by 2 for front and rear.
this is without taking into accountthe riders height and weight, ride height, static sag, tyre manufacturer and then the condition of tyres.
Geez mate next time you want to start a war in here why dont you ask something simple like
"What is the meaning of life?" -----> Religion
or
" Why should I vote for.....?" ------>politics
