Your average GP knows fuck all about injuries. Go and see someone that knows what they are doing. Seriously, you should be able to get enough relief to be able to ride the track day in a couple of sessions. You can also tape to support this as well.Disco wrote:I feel your pain Glen....For the past four or so week's I have been in intense pain whilst trying to walk and riding has been damn near impossible..
After a few miss diagnosis' by a dodgy doctor I ended up going to see another guy who done the whole job on me blood test's (to rule out gout) Xrays and even a bone scan to boot...Turn's out I have damaged my plantar fascia somehow....Doctors reacon's I just need to ride it out take voltaren oh and see a podiatrist....So no Xmas track day for me

Fark YEH to the CUPPING!!! Best massage I've had, I reckon.Nelso wrote:My Physio utilises cupping and dry needling (acupuncture) among plenty of other hands on techniques but doesn't use any electronic devices.
Your best bet is to find a good physio/osteo who works with professional athletes. It will require a combination of progressive exercises and soft tissue work (massage) to help it recover so be prepared to go a few times to get it right (ie once a week for a few weeks)
