<rant>My postie is f*ing useless. Mum sent something to me express-post near on two weeks ago to make sure it got here in time (she's in Tassie) and called me last night to ask if i had gotten it. Well i hadn't seen ANY sign of it so got the express-post id number off mum and looked it up. "Apparently" the bloke had "attempted delivery" early last week at about 6pm, when i was home. No door buzzer set off, no note left in the letter box to announce a pending parcel. So I'll be rocking up on Wednesday asking wtf the story is.

Now i know these guys are batshit busy this time of the year, but fuck that is at least the third time they've done half arsed shit like this to me this year (not leaving the notice and leaving it to the normal postie to deliver the reminder/final notice giving me a week to pick it up if)

Also there was the time I had fifteen wedding invitations opened AFTER they had been checked by myself to make sure they were securely sealed using a decent glue seal (not the cheap and nasty gum George Kostanza opted for) and put in the letterbox directly outside our local post officeestablishment. I found this out when we had guests complaining of getting other peoples invitations, getting EMPTY envelopes, as well as either getting duplicates of some things or missing some of the invitation entirely. Recieving the damaged envelopes as evidence showed that a fair number of the invitations had never made it through the automatic sorting machine and led to a formal complaint being submitted by ourselves before the wedding, as if we didn't have ENOUGH to contend with

Not to mention i have had a registered post AND a express post items go missing in the last 3 years. They made it as far as the local depot, i contact them and they say it was sent to the local Post office, and i talk to the post office and they have no record of it. Fuckin useless.</rant>
So yeah, no big surprise i haven't had anything in my mailbox for a week and a half before christmas aside from bills & junk mail.

With my bike not going it was harder to get a pic with pressie installed but considering the shape of the bile currently the second part to the gift will come in handy
