*belly roll* He broke the record for contested marks in the AFL last season. He is still universally acknowledged as the best contested mark in the game. Full-stop. Yes, he had a pretty poor return for goals this year but was still within 20 or so of the Coleman medallist. At only 25, his best years are still ahead of him and I have no doubt he will be a better player for the Pies next year with all the distractions of this year behind him (and the rest of the team).

His talent would be wasted in almost every other side in the comp - maybe apart from the Hawks - who actually have a midfield that can deliver well to the forwards.....just like the Pies. Malthouse will be spewing that he could not get Cloke on board at Carlton......who still have not been able to fill Fevola's boots since he was booted.
