See overated :D ..there worth 500k cause theirs none left cause they,'ve all been stoved..due to the obviously flawed ford brake quality.Just cause some ford enthusiast idiots got 500k 2 waste on 1 is my casing point...500,000 would buy me 2 road road bikes, 2 supersports & 2 track bikes a trailer 4 them all 2 go in.. behind my new RV that would take me to Philip Island so i could talk shit with valentino & stefan in the paddock .. while the interwetten wench got the beers in..U bin it again 2day bradl? "Youngy what can i say mate" you get the picture!!...Now that's money well spent...End of 2days financial lesson boys.

it was closer to $750k for an XY GTHO about 5? years ago ?? This was the breaking point for these (and similiar) muscle cars. Prices started dropping pretty quickly after this.

I still wish I owned my very first car......it looked just like this

You would be a lot wealthier.

On the GTHO, the A9X is actually rarer but not as valued for some reason.

On the E49 Charger, of course it was quicker, it dropped parts as it went along and just go lighter the more you drove it

got a mate in brissy who bought a new A9X back in 77, never been pd, still has plastic covers on doors ect. has less than a K on speedo, sittin on blocks, wheels off, engine full of oil right up to tappet covers.
Was offered $50Gs for it 20 years ago, knocked it back, cant imagine whats its worth now

probably not a whole lot more. Unlikely that the owner will ever get what he thinks it is *worth* - regardless of condition.

Some owners think their vehicles are worth 10x market value.....and cannot understand why they never get the sale.

What a waste.Unless he had money to burn at the time whats the point in buying a good car or bike and sticking it in a shed and never driving the damn thing.
I'm sure some financial guru could tell us that if he'd invested his purchase price in shares or some such it would have been worth 10 times more than the A9X is now :P

Got no idea of its worth, he actually bought two at the same time, had a cash flow :D :D without going into that... but bear in mind in 77 they were worth 7 and half grand on the road, or something like that. one was his every day drive, the other went up on blocks, dont think he was really worried about further investment, just liked the idea of having it there.

Its the other stuff he had in the shed that would make most here drool, like some now very collectable jaffa's, last time i saw him and had a look in the shed, he had brand new 4 into 4 oem pipes as in a couple of sets hanging up...
