Hey froggy, I just did a search on how good ZX12R's Are, and look what I found, some astonishing evidence on why the 14 is better than the 12, (pls see the scene of the accident)

SO so sad....
for all you ppl whose google only picks up porn....

THIS is a Monocoque chassis. The ONLY production bike til the 14 to have it. (anyone?) It is outlined in yellow and is also the airbox. The tops of the filters are the little red bits on top (purple arrow).
I have put in where the fuel tank sits in red.
It is the obv the full width of the bike.
Super light, super strong, able to take full on hits off a table drain (I hope  )

What can I say guys, your "team" is not doing too well at the moment.
Should have used this "logic" stuff before

Judging by the picture you just posted of your twelve, i'd say your "Teams" argument's going pretty badly too, and you call the 14 UGLY!!!

BUWAHAHAHAHA
Which 10 riders.? We've got over a thousand on here so you'll have to be more specific...

Oh, and when a Monocoque framed bike wins moto gp or world superbikes, I'll get one.
Until then its like saying "my bike has clear rim stickers", It sounds good but if you think about it, it doesn't really achieve anything....

The monocoque frame has really caught on though hasn't it.

BTW guys, I'm sure this is all a bit of lite hearted banter to get through the Monday blues, so lets not take it too seriously, ok.
We save the serious bagging for the Honda guys... :-)

Similar in concept to the frame first introduced for the ZX-12R, the ZX-14 frame is a huge backbone that travels over the top of the engine, and incorporates space for the airbox and battery box. Unlike the 12R, the 14 has two balance shafts in the engine that allowed Kawasaki engineers to rigidly mount the engine as a stressed member of the frame structure.

The new frame is both lighter and more rigid that the 12R's frame, and it allows Kawasaki to achieve a very centralized mass.
Improvements from the 12R frame in the 14.
The all-new engine, despite its increased displacement, is no larger physically than the engine in the 12R and produces a claimed 190 horsepower (200 with ram air effect). With 12-to-1 compression and 1352cc, torque output is huge, as well, with a claimed 113.5 pound/feet at 7,500 rpm. Pushing only 474 pounds dry, this engine understandably vaults the ZX-14 forward every time you ask it to, almost regardless of rpm level
More power!
Edmundson told us that the ZX-14 was "just a continuation of our legacy." In 2003, Kawasaki announced a "new focus on sportbikes", and introduced the ZX-6R followed by the '04 ZX-10R. Both bikes were great machines that shattered all kinds of performance and competition records, but Kawasaki felt they needed a "flagship" model, a motorcycle that would have a reputation for being the fastest machine available, while still being comfortable and pleasant to ride. The ZX-12R was plenty fast, but it just didn't have the reputation of being as comfortable and easy handling as some of the competing models.
Quote from Karl Edmundson, Kawasaki's Sportbike Product Manager (in america ?)

Just purchased the 14r, got the black one. Used to have the 12r what a big upgrade! Style, comfort, and power are a lot better. I’m a big guy and have ridden all the big liter bikes, this is deffinately top notch. If you can get one, go for it. You will be pleased!
Quote from an owner of both bikes.

la de da.. Just a few quotes i found
