Clever little turkey... you've been quiet awhile!Stereo wrote:just under 7 years. I quit 3 times but they kept giving me pay rises... I had quit because i was bored.... but I was pretty damned good at what I was doing...
Ironically the same happened at my last job, I was there for 4 years.
It was one of those situations where I could do a job that most people would take 2 hours to do in about 2 minutes because I had done it so many times before, I knew all of the error codes, customers names, customers phone numbers, even the lines in the various programs off the top of my head...
Congrats... all the best with it and dont forget your mates at KSRC when you hit the big time...Saki wrote:Well i sound like such a young sprout!

Good stuff!... that ought to be congratulated... my brother shares your passion of machining parts!:DStace wrote:Longest job for me was my first one. Worked for John Valves where i did my apprenticeship as a Fitter and Turner, lasted there 9 years and 6 days. Left because i ended up a leading hand and got sick of the internal politics restricting me from doing my job.
Currently working as an electrical fitter for a switchboard manifacturing company. Got no f@$kin idea what i'm doing but i love it. Fitting and Turning is gone for ever. Only think i miss is being able to machine up bike parts ETC.
Gutsy effort mate, congrats to you, good to see your enthusiasm...Saki wrote:Well i sound like such a young sprout!
