MadKaw wrote::D , my misses left some there on Saturday.
She went there to get a clutch cable for her zzr and they gave her a discount as she had her KSRC shirt on, so she left some stickers..

BTW, KSRC don't ask businesses to be a sponsor, if ppl want to be a sponsor they contact us. Keeps things a bit easier that way with no expectations from either parties..
Yeah I asked him who had been in with the stickers and he told me it was a lady that ran the club so i figured it must have been your wife.

They seem to be helpful most of the time down there.

With the sponsors list

Are we able to put the geographical location of each sponsor?

What if we have someone in mind to be a sponsor? Is there a criteria or requirement?

Never mind

I found this thread http://www.ksrc-au.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=319

I don't think these guys are one of our sponsors but there are stickers for KSRC right at the front of the counter.

To cut a long story short got a small discount after I mentioned KSRC. :D (I was only spending $38 so I suppose $3 off isn't bad

I use Kelens all the time. They are not pushy like some of the bigger shops, also Ken the mechanic is pretty good.

This is just to say, that I’ve had 18k tune up and service done on my bike yesterday by Flywheels team and I’m very happy with the work they did. It is very professional and friendly service and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The service was also cheaper than I expected and I got 10% KSRC discount too. 8)
Keep up the good work guys. :D

Just an update..

Another e-mail was sent this evening to all the sponsors that we have not seen or heard from for a while.
It will be interesting to see who gets back to us..!

Copy of e-mail

Hi.
You are receiving this e-mail as you are listed on the KSRC forum as a sponsor, if this is not correct please let us know and we will fix this immediately.

We have not heard from you for a while and would like to know if you would like to continue to be a KSRC sponsor.?
We charge nothing to have you as a sponsor, we have your business listed on the forum page and have given you a page for your business on the KSRC web site.

Here
http://www.ksrc-au.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=319

and here
http://www.ksrc-au.com/index.php?menuid=19

All we have asked in return is that you offer our members a reasonable discount.

We have found that those sponsors who are active on the site are the ones who are getting something out of it.
Those that get involved with the forum, club activities and promoting there products online have found they get a lot of new and repeat business from KSRC members.

Please let us know via reply if your are interested in continuing sponsorship.
If we do not receive a reply we will take it you are no longer interested.

Thankyou

OK - so far I have heard from 6 sponsors out of the 12 the e-mail was sent to.
It was only sent to sponsors who we haven't heard from for a while. I will post the list up later.

But rest assured the following are still keen to support KSRC members.

Mornington Kawasaki.

Hi guys!
yes we are still interested in being a sponsor!,l will try to get more active ,but being open 7 days a week and racing Superbikes keeps me busy.l was glad to see you guys out in force once again in turn 1 at the Moto GP.While walking past l was given a sticker by one of the kids(great marketing).l share the Kawasaki passion also, thats why l have a Kawasaki dealership and race a Kawasaki ZX10R!!
l got down to 1-39.76 in the last race on Sunday ,and was thinking of you guys at turn 1 every time l threw it in there!
Keep up the good work and l will try to do more to show our support for you guys and gals!!
with thanks

Hello,

Thanks for your email. I would still like to be your sponsor for your KSRC club.
I do get a few locals from your club visiting and I appreciate it very much.

Here are the new discounts for your club.

- KSRC customers only pay starting price on eBay

- Customers that require postage will pay a fixed price of $10.

- Better deals can be done if purchasing more than 1 item and over the value of $350.

- At the end of each year we will donate some stock or credit to the club. The value will be determined by the total amount the club members purchase through AUSTSALES DIRECT.

You must contact us directly at sales@austsales.com for the above discounts to be offered.

Please remember to mention your clubs name, as this will entitle you to the above discounts.

Nows a good time for your members to buy gloves. There only $50 + P&H, I have plenty of green available.

As above, a week ago an e-mail went out to a lot of our sponsors. It only went to the ones we haven't heard from in a while to see if they are still interested.
Out of the 12 sent, only 7 replied. They are listed above and should be supported along with the other contributing sponsors..
Those that did not reply, and is then suggested, do not want to continue there sponsorship or support of KSRC are.

Race Replica Kawasaki- Vic
Brighton Kawasaki - Vic
Bike Biz - NSW
Z Power
NoR Rus

If anyone deals with these businesses, can you let them know, or ask them if there is a problem.?

There businesses will be removed from the sponsors list and from the home page and lose sponsor rights.

Go bike has also been removed as they are no longer around.
