Doesn't the J have a fairing bracket over the top, whereas, the 1st of the 636's doesn't???

well the first gen 636 was the j series with a 636 engine in it and They did what they did with the late model 9 and put the u bracket on. So it would still mean that with the j series I would need the u bracket and if I had the 636 I wouldn't need it because I would already have it.
