Mitch Varden and Stretch, get your resumes in.
Niothing less than 4 foot ksrc stickers up the sides of your bikes will do
Hemi... buy a Kwak you bloody girl

You may have to start eating meat so the bugger knows who is boss but.

I can donate a couple of large KSRC stickers to put the side of the fairings.

But seriously I'd in for this as well.

IMO people should be able to donate monthly or one off. The idea of having a title beneath your name l like, say, monthly/multiple sponsors get GOLD sponsor, others get sponsor.
Also, l think the rider should be national because Winton is the only place l would be able to cheer him/her on

Gold sponsor?? Thats abit rough (like i said earlier) on the people who want to help out but CANT afford to! Like people with a mortgage and kids and a car that uses fuel. To some $10 a month is nothing to some its the difference between paying the bills and not paying the bills.

Decide what you want to do, like whom you want the club to sponsor
We'll throw the cash
They'll hopefully use it to ride better.
None of this mark it against peoples names on the forum or make it an offical club.
Bit of a over reaction about it all.
Our admins don't do this for money, they often have to fork out their own cash to keep this place going. And also have jobs like most people they need to do as well
No need to make it any more difficult.

*HAS to be national..im not paying for sum guy to ride around in Vic if i cant go harrass him when hes here in SA.
* personally id go with once off, cos i cant b bothered having to worry abt donating money once a month. if we donate and dave/dan/whoever distributes to the rider at monthly intervals that is ok with me.
*altho im keen to give up some hard earned $$ for someone else to go racing, id rather not have it listed...privacy is nice.
*it IS a shame we dont have ne1 already established here who is racing, cos whoever we sponsor, we probably wont get much out of other than a warm fuzzy feeling-not that this is bad, just not a great investment.
*part of the deal (verbal or written) must be things like autographing ksrc merchandise for members (maybe even we can auction sumthin off at GP/SBK for a charity, or the rider)...and being nice to us
*part of the offer may be as simple as giving up an evening when in the state for dinner with members ...ie- if in adelaide, then Friday or Sunday night there will be a ksrc gathering at a pub/restaurant/cafe for dinner & a chat....
these things arent much to ask in return for support..i think....

Although Adam is not riding this weekend, he is up at Winton, and he sent me an email.....
Re: Up and comers!

Hey Marty,
I'm heading up to Winton tomorrow.
I'll have a good look over the course of the weekend and get back to ya early next week.
Cheers
So lets see what he comes up with!!!! I reckon a SStck guy would be an Ideal starting point. I could Imagine, if we scrape enough together amongst the willing, to end up with a smick looking team and bike!! I reckon it would be a winner. I know a journo or two (plus our own internal Journo "Piffer" aka Phil)

who might give it some legs in print too!!! I'm in if we can find the right deal!!

What Duane and Neka said.
Oh what and Ponti supported Ponti saying too
With regards the state things, two possibilities
If it is is ONE person being sponsored, they would have to be national.
If we split it, we would get more "coverage" the more ppl we ship it out to.
I do like the idea of the WHOLE bike being painted ksrc. WICKED.

In my opinion only, is to have either one national rider or/and a per-state rider depending on their results and amount donated of course, nominations of riders then a poll will sort that out. Whatever, just tell me where to send the dollars too already
Anyway as far as trust goes I have done quite a few group buys particularly the GellongCarbonCraft one.
I was entrusted to deliver the large sum of CASH to the business at the Gold Coast, it wasn't worth having to worry about every Kawasaki sports bike hunting me down so I didn't do the runner

Just kidding I never even considered it, but the level of trust given to me was huge and I felt all warm and fuzzy inside

nah.
Some of us are use to large amounts of money and a measly coupla grand wouldn’t even bat an eyelid with some and no I do not want the job either. I think as a whole the members here are trustworthy and who ever handles the money should be transparent and make the details available etc.
I do not think recognition is necessary for the individual donation as to donate IMO means anonymous in some ways but if a KSRC sponsor/business wants to step up to the plate well hell yes but not on the sponsored rider or bike just recognition in this forum.
As part of the transparent approach perhaps a list of donations with the member name beside it in a locked sticky would suffice, that would also sort out the recognition thing as well. (rambling on sorry)
After all said and done it does not need to be complicated, the good old handshake agreement works for me and a national rider would be far easier in the end.
My $0.40
