When in the southern states itsa potato cake just as flake is a piece of shark, in Qld its a potato scallop and a piece of fish is Cod. In NSW I dont give rats arse coz they have Rechs and Pah-Tooheys.

While we're on beer, what the fark is a pot anyway? My grandad drank outta bigger glasses when he was 80. Girls drink out of a 1/2 pint, men have pints. End of story.

Pot usta be in vic a 9oz glass, last time I went to a pub they do not serve them anymore, schooner thats it.
A glass usta be a 7oz but in other states what they call it can vary a lot from 7 oz to a 10oz even a 9oz, pints can vary from 12oz to 21 oz which I always though was a good deal, 6 of them did the trick well.

I remember going to Qld on a footy trip back in about 1984 - they drank beer out of fuckin' THIMBLES - I think they were like 5oz glasses ?? We asked for a beer on a hot day, and got served these miserable little piss-ant glasses - fair dinkum, one gulp and they were dry !!

The biggest beer at the time up there was a middie !!! and they thought we were weird, because we wanted farken SCHOOIES !!! FFS they would have shat bricks with a schooie - although of course, to a pom, a schooie is a girls drink !! Fuck the pints, they are the reason the poms like warm beer !!! Ya right on the girls shite, but a pint in SA after working in the blast furnace wouldn't even hit the sides until the 5th one within 30 mins (at 21oz) by then its wasted brain cell time so the next two, you got your voice back and could talk and be sociable for about 3 seconds just as it hit
