Always liked them and think they should be more popular than scooters .
They look like a great commuter .

exactly as you say it is, they're such a great little toy to get to and fro, and very comfortable too, it wouldn't like the highway, but the engine has a lot of upgrade potential, there's a website that sells a power up kit (big bore, intake and exhaust derestriction, and minor electrical mods) that takes power from 8hp to 25hp, supposedly seeing 143km/h on a dyno.... I reckon that would be awesome.

I'm going to buy another one eventually and use it to and from the station, for $800, I think it's a great bike

p.s. it's also very torquey, pulling wheelies off the clutch is very easy, and the brakes are great, suspension is very well set up

Well I was reading a magazine about a guy who built a whole bike with a 500cc v8, I was very curious, and when I saw that engine, I was so excited. Can you guys guess the engine?

you got it! I'd love to contact this guy and find out some more information, I can't imagine a 22000rpm 500cc v8!

That's pretty crazy, alot of work and money would have been pored into the engine....

thank you very much my friend! :kuda:

now for more!

guys, now I'm just downright confused... so yesterday I got my bike running really well, but the battery was flat so it only ran for about a kilometre then i let the revs drop too low and it died and I had to run it back... so last night I left it on a charger overnight, and this morning when I start it, it sounds like it's running on two or three cylinders (very very hesitant to rev, and revs very slowly as compared to before). I know it's not the carbs because I cleaned them thoroughly, and I replaced the sparks with iridiums only 3 months ago (I've only run it 3-4 times in that space because it was being built up) now I'm just baffled at why it would run on 2-3 cylinders... I only took it to 17k, and it revs smoothly, but slowly and doesn't develop much power at all, frankly it was slower than a 125. Wtf is going on?

got it, it's the leads, I pulled cylinder 3 (from the left of the bike looking at the headlights) and it sparks fine when trying to start the bike, I checked cylinder 1, no spark on the plug, changed the plug to a brand new one, and still no spark, pulled the wire out of the rubber grommet sort of thing, it is arcing when trying to start the bike but there is nothing coming through to the plug. What do you guys reckon I can do about it?

nevermind, it's not the leads, now I'm just completely confused. here's a video of the problem, forgive my flinching, it is very loud.

PLEASE HELP, I AM SO CONFUSED! Tomorrow I'm going to drain the carbies and fuel tank and make sure it's not that. I have checked the leads, sidestand switch and battery/rec/reg.

I don't have any more ideas if it's not bad fuel...

Do you know If it's running on all 4 cylinders? While it's running lick your finger or wet a rag and quickly wipe it on the headers near the exhaust outlet and see if the water disappears quickly - if not the cylinder isn't working....
