No, No of course it isn't me, that would be illegal & stupid, that's why I went looking on internet to find it.Blackzxr wrote:Hey gizmo
I hope that's not your bike dude. If it is, trade it in quick. Mate, my mateswasn't pulling that many revs and was well beyond that speed.
I used to pass cars going down the nth side of Mt Macedon on me Malvern Star till the brakes iced up and i went into the scrub at one of the hairpins just missing a hq wagon...now i'm much more responsible...yerr rightthe kid wrote:Hit 82kph laid flat over the bars on the Avanti MTB down hill (mt Macedon)
Scary Monsters .
Theres always someone / something faster out there , Take it easy guys/girls .
Dont worry , know the speed thrill equation , just know your road etc etc and think first , Then go for it .
Stay Safe .
Ahh fair enough, i see the error in my ways, I can't count. 5th gear and 250, is pretty impressive. Yes i can see from the pics, it is greengizmo wrote:No, No of course it isn't me, that would be illegal & stupid, that's why I went looking on internet to find it.Blackzxr wrote:Hey gizmo

But What do you mean by revs@ that speed? 250kph@15000rpm in 5th?
I was told by someone that it will do around 255ish or more? indicated on rev limiter @ 15500ish in 5th & then some more in 6th, around 268 indicated with a little more rpm in reserve perhaps?
Only way another 636 would be different is gearing or speedo is different calibration.
I don't have a green 636 so it can't be me.
How about what your mate reported the top speed to be after he took it for a ride.aardvark wrote:I'd tell you what I've seen on my bike, but, err, I wont.
Jason , we all know u dont go over the speed limit until someone dials in an emergency - so its okay u can tell usaardvark wrote:I'd tell you what I've seen on my bike, but, err, I wont.
Biggest compliment I receved was when a friend on a standard 03 ZX9R couldn't shake me in a roll-on.simon limbrick wrote:Apparently a '01 ZX9 with a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket (speedo obviously not quite accurate then) will show 270kph at 11000rpm in 6th. Apparently.....
what cc was that??? not 250??Smitty wrote:the speedo on the GPx said about 255mike-s wrote:I've never had my gpx up to 215, unfortunately i ran out of guts before i ran out of road.
