				Triumph Daytona 675

				Anyone with a ZX6R ridden this bike?  I looked at one today and they are beautiful to behold. Do they go as good and how does it compare?

				They just one the masterbike 600cc class against all the Jap bikes, so they are certainly a very impressive piece of kit, and they are dead sexy.
In fact triuph came from last in last years masterbike to first this year. What a turnaround. And I cant wait to see the new 1050 Daytona if the 675 is anything to go by..

Yeah they look great.  Think the 1050 will too.  I'll get a masterbike review and have a look.  I think the 2005 daytona was a four cylinder.  The 675 is really thin, sitting on it feels like a 250 almost.

				Yeah it is very thin compared to other 600's, you can see in the photo's in the latest amcn, The lap times were almost 2 seconds a lap quicker than the other 600's.

				Not sure - the guy a peter stevens triumph reckoned it was the 3 cylinder layout which let them make it that slim.  By comparison the GSXR feels fat as, so does the Kwaka.  I haven't tried an R6.

				I saw one in a dealership in the UK late last year when i was there
...and I was impressed...very thin from the front
all the goodies (radial brakes fully adj suspension) good paintwork
and a motza of horsepower (which it should have with 675cc)
BIKE mag (in the UK) did a 4 bike comparo with it and
with the ZX6r, Suzi 600 and yammy 600
it wiped 'em all..on the track and on the road
which sez..it has to be good

				Mmmm they look nice alright with carbon bits I saw at peter stevens. but at $15 grand wouldnt one just buy a 2004 zx10r or 05 R1 (the black one) ? Mmmmm...

				Froggy Test of 675
It sounds GREAT on it and off it and encourages you to rev it JUST for the noise
Even better than a ZX7R (I kid you not)
BUT they are NOT a 750 grunt NO WAY
They are WAY tiny and so so easy to move around on
BUT having said all that I felt like it was Honda
NO offence at to Triumph what so ever but it just had no "feeling"
Maybe it was me (must be, I enjoyed it) but other than the sound nothing sort of sticks in the memory... wierd
How much of it is too do with the race rubber fitted as standard?
I mean it HAS got charecter but it just does things SO easy
V easy to keep in the power (for a 6) turns where you think it
So good it is boring ???
One thing I did find, with the low fairing and noise it made I felt like I was going FASTER than I actually was, that was weird too.
In corners it doesnt feel like you are working but apparently (from the guy following) it leaves black lines, that soft rubber again?
Nice nice bike but, attracts looks, looks good, thin as, small as, light as etc. etc.

				I have been looking at this bike as I am off restrictions in 21 Days (not that I am counting  

 ) In The Australian Motorcycle Mag they have put 5 bikes up against each other 

 . Triumph 675, Yamaha YXF-R6, Honda CBR600RR, Kawasaki ZX-6R and the Suzuki GSX-R600. Not a bad read at all. The only problem with the 675 I think is the color scheme. I dislike all three colors it comes in. In saying that I am going to keep Kermie 

  I love him and he is good for my local running round just not that good for long rides.

have you seen one in the flesh...?
they look better up close than in a mag
mind you...the charcoal one did nothing for me
but the red and pale gold is nice
imho of course

				i have a comparo of last years triple vs this years triple in an amcn somewhere at home. If i can i'll drag it out and scan it in (if i can figure out works scanner that is)
