I second that. In MY opinion, it has succeded in making the ZX12 look dated overnight.

Just done over 1500km on mine now. Had the first service done. Absolutely no problems to report other than the engine is feeling more powerful every time I ride the bike (not.....really...a.....problem.....

). Gearbox is the smoothest I have ever used on any bike. Still very few around, in fact I haven't seen any others on the road yet.
Seriously this is the best bike I have owned, but don't tell my ZZR1100.

Looks like you should have got a 12 in between shadow....
AND the 12 dated ?????
Only if you like your bike styled after a pregnant guppy.....

BUT seriously I see what you mean, look at that head on pic

Yeah I know I am highly biased... and I want one too
BUT only cause you cant SEE it when you are on it

They are still way bulkier and uglier than a 12 BUT not when you are ON it.

yes, well... from that last pic above I gotta admit, the 12 looks a lot like a blue tongue lizard

Now even the side-stand looks "dated"

Yeah but front on it looks like a hungry shark that just spotted a couple of goldfish snacks.....

...DOH, took me a while to get the sidestand dated bit but....

My old 11 must look like a dinosaur to these blokes! But if we bought bikes on on the basis of looks alone, where would we be?

I ave to say I like the look of the 12 and it's cheeky little grin.
I dont think it looks dated at all. It certainly is a more athletic looking bike, where as the 14 looks like the starship enterprise.

Checked out the 14 on Sat and was quite suprised at how compact they seem when sitting on em .
From Shadows reports they seem the goods .
I want one ....................... as soon as they work out the luggage carrying details .

I jumped on one today. It has a very sportsbike like ride position!
