Boral are giving me the boot for the most wanky reasons (i was hired to undertake a new position and get it rolling, but it naturally didn't work out, did it?). I have got a week to go before i leave. Naturally i'm going to do my best to find anything else.

oh man this is b-s.

(i work in network support, i was advised that i wasnt giving enough "customer service" to the role, given that there should be two people in this role and they had just me, i say more power to 'em for the future, assholes)

That's a pisser mate. I presume you were at the Greystanes Taj Mahal.

It's probably not a bad thing. I've known lots of people who've worked for Boral and without exception everyone has said they are a real pack of arseholes

I knew a scottish bloke that bought a car off me that worked there a few years ago in the office at prospect. He paid me $12,000 of his hard earned and then lost his job the following week due to a restructure.
He was bitter and twisted to say the least.
 Bastards..

Glen: yup greystanes-ma-hall indeed, oh and the workmates are great, it's just that the upper echelons of management have decayed though. As one other network guy here said "it's like they had it in for you from day one" which feels kinda true, blaming the half arsed approach to things failing because of me. Im a network guy, i have customer service skills, but my priority is to fix stuff, i dont have the time to tell everyone every 20-60 minutes wtf is happening with the status of things, im too goddamn busy FIXING them.

Oh well, shit happens.
Oh and Hoffy, doesnt surprise me, they had *ANOTHER* restructure in october last year.......

b.t.w. yes, this is boral,, they do plasterboard, timber, concrete, asphelt, construction materials, the lot.
