Coming down from Richmond Rd towards M4 via Knox Rd this morning at 6am, and you know the senario.........hmm 60 zone and it's notorious for our" jump out and wake you up radar traps", so I'll take it easy.
Looking down the road on the left hand side, no worries!
Blink
WTF, some sporny bas*ard in and unmarked white Falcon wagon, did he get me or was it someone else, when it blinked I reckon I was bordering mid to high 60s."I'm not sure if that was a cop"
So I turns around to have a better look, I pull up behind said car, no one in it, hmmm, get out the ute for a better look, copper doing his crossword lay across the back seat
Tap tap tap, "yeah wadyawant"," are you allowed to do this?, I say". "Yeah", was the reply.
I thought unmarked wasn't allowed unless a warning sign was permanently installed within a certain distance of the radar area?
Whats that there then?............would you believe, about 20 yards in front of the car was the smallest blue sign saying speed checks in progress was propped up!!!!!!
Since when can they blink ya in an unmarked car in NSW, if they can thats farked.
Ah well, looks like a low level speeding infringment on the way, way to go Mr. Howard and the NSW goverment.
Rant over
