Sweet.
I may just sell the one I have and get a carbon fiber or aluminium fibre one to save me the hassle!
The biggest problem would be match the paint as I dont think Kawasaki release the colour codes. (?) Coz it looks POX in the wrong colour!

IMO from my experience.. I would never take a bike to Melbourne Motorcycle Fairing Repairs... I had mine resprayed under insurance, after 4 weeks the paint was still soft... And the front was covered in stone chips.

They resprayed it again, not respraying all of the bike and 1 scratch was still just visable on the tank, the paint was soft for weeks again, luck only have it that I never the bike for weeks. After 2 trips with the tank bag I have scratches on the tank again..

AND

Why owe why do IDIOTS have to screw the screen on tightly causing the paint to twist and bubble around the screw.. Are these people so stupid that they do this for a living and don't know how to treat the parts?!?!?!?

Plus to top it all over they left the nose of the bike on when they sprayed it... The blue paint on the heads of the screws and washers was a dead set give away...

Not happy Jan, but completely over the inconvenience of going back to try to get it buffed and maybe push to make them do parts again...

Maybe so, but the hard bit is matching the colour.
I dont want to spend the money to have it sprayed only to have it still looking like crap!

Have had fairing repainted and a small repair done at the local panel shop and the results are great :)
Rang Kaw Australia and spoke to a techo bloke who really was helpfull with colour match advice and got me the right code for the paint system the local guy uses . 8G for Candy Lime Pearl .
Removed the panels and put em back on myself .

Best part ... $200.00 Bargain . :D

Now just need to get Back on the Road
