cheap lap gps timers?

just want to know whether this is suitable for track and if so who would be interested as a mate owns a bike shop and would prob do us a good deal.

But don't GPS receivers only spit out location packets once a second? That would make these things only accurate to the second, fine for a triathalon, as they are intended, but not so good for us where 10ths and 100ths of a second would be better?

not sure but i just assumed by the photo it would be split seconds

will try and find out more

btw - friend tells me now that he wont deal with timex as he needs to spend 10,000 a year with them and he doesnt. he said to buy one off ebay if they are that cheap.

They aint gonna serve the purpose if youre using em for
a motorbike..

If they were suitable, everyone would have em.

Try asking the seller for confirmation bro..

That's what I thought initially, but then, it says they are good for upto 450mph - and that's a bit quick for a tri-athlete.
