What type or brand of fairing bog would you recommend or have had decent results with?
I want it mainly for minor scratches in plastic fairings, also what prep cleaner would you suggest?
cheers

Mick
Prepsol (or similar trade names)
will clean up the fairings
it removes grease wax silicon etc
buy it at repco or Bursons (about $10 a litre)
for little scratches ...a skim coat filler
is the go (apply it in very thin smears)
also from repco or Autobarn etc

I just use automotive bog (that Dad had lying around)
Never cracked or anything.
Just a little at a time but.
Easier to add a bit than an hour sanding a dip into it..
(use a block to sand )
I am sure there would be proper elastic plastic stuff
You gets what you pays for

Mate, don't worry how thick it is when it's finished, the key is the go, good key no worries, shit key, whooops riding down the road and the bog falls out ya fairing.
I buy bog by the tonne not the tin, can use anything between 200-1000kg in some jobs, it's fast, easily worked and shaved/carved and is a damn sight easier than using clay, incredibly stable and adheres to almost anything
