Beautiful day at Mt Dandenong

Was bored waiting for work today so decided to go for a ride up to Mt Dandenong & yes of course I just headed off in the general direction & then thought maybe I'm not quite going in the right direction. Where is a hill? Mosied along in every direction but Mt Dandenong & then saw some hills in the distance & was back on course. Well what else did you expect? Anyway. Pulled up at a set of lights & didn't notice the 2 petrol-head P-platers either side of me. When the lights changed there were tyres squealing & they both went nuts. Then coming up behind me was the Ferrari busting for a bit of competition. Stopped at the next lights & couldn't let the Kawasaki mob down so gave it my best shot & got away faster than the Ferrari but it gave alot better than me after that. Played silly party games for a few ks & then headed up Mt Dandenong Rd back through Kallista & Sherbrooke forest area. It's all lovely through there on a sunny day & makes you wonder why everybody isn't on a bike. I love my 9.

Glad you enjoyed it Gig. The hills are awesomely serene on a sunny spring (almost) day. The shadows as they flash past are almost strobe like in there effect.
And the warm sun soaking through the leathers is a welcome experience after so long inthe cold down here!
It is a nice day for a ride in the hills. And tommorrow is aledgedly even better!!!!! So i may do a spurs run to get my eye back in!
