Can't go past GC motorcycles. "Don't Slip Grip" !!! They have two sites one in Prospect on Main north rd, and another in st mary's I think, maybe on main south from memory. Martin Renfree is one of the owners and a genuinely nice bloke.

His claim to fame, is circa 1985/6 Qualifying for the German 250cc GP on the 2nd row, on a deadset private bike (one he bought here and took over there to race, a real shitter it was too), can't remember what he finished, if he finished at all. But he was very quick in his day!

Martin used to put a set of sticky race compound Michelin Hi Sports on my 1993 FZR600 about every other week when I lived in Adelaide. I used to get about 2000klms out of them  But they gripped good for the day! Renfree loved me!! or my business at least!!!

He also helped me out doing my very first ever proper road race meeting on a bucket! He put tyres on it that wern't 20 years old, made the front brake work, and straightened out the pegs and put new bars on it for me when I crashed it 6 times in practice  He also let me use the GC motorcycles Van to take it to the track!!

Thursday night I think it was, or maybe friday was the night we all got together at the shop and got shit faced before trundling off home or out. It was like our social hub. :)

your other option is... to get some tyres shipped interstate to Adl and just pay the $30 to get them fitted at a local shop.....

ie I got my tyres from Craig White.... $450 BT002's (he also does the BT014 / 012ss for the same price)...... or there is always Mad Mick @ goodna also..... even after shipping you will prob still save some $$$....Some food for thought....
