Apparently on yesterdays Barry Sheene memorial ride, some goose decided it would be cool to pull a stand coming out of turn one. Duly flipped it in front of EVERYONE

Let him have it

On the pre-ride they would've been warned not to do that. Last year a harley pulled a massive wheelie beside me. Awesome but not good for the whole event I guess.

What a dipshit it was a memorial ride not a race or show-off session. Hope he cops heaps off all.

Sure after lifting into trailers all the time it would get pretty easy lifting the front wheel. Question is was it moving or stationary????

he must have been right at the end of the ride, coz i was pulled over on the side of the straight just after the exit of turn 12, and saw/heard nothin... and i was there for 5 mins stuffin around. we were just after halfway through the riders, position wise.

I spoke to a mate last night who was on the ride. He wasn't that far behind the crash. He said it lookied like the guy gassed it up for a stand, pulled the front up, realised he had slower riders in front, put it down, locked it up, and ten pin bowled several other bikes down! I reckon he would have been about as popular as the pox!!!!
