Try these:
http://www.blackroseleathers.com.au/aus.htm
Both Wisc and me bought our leather jackets there about $195 from memory, nothing amazing but good value for money. They're in Port Melbourne.

The quality isn't bad. I haven't had any stitching come undone or anything break. I wear it everytime I ride, which is nearly every day. Some patches on the leather are starting to get a rough look but I'm not sure if other leather jackets do that as this is my first one. Wisc has the same rough patches coming up on his.

Peter Stevens only seem to stock the more expensive brands...
But that said, how expensive is a skin graft these days?
But yeah, The jacket you wore on that ride we went on would last about 0.002 of a second on the road an you would probably have a lot of surgery to pay for if you ever hit the road and slide.... You can pick up decent jackets quite affordably if you shop around.... For something worthwhile you pay a little more....
I would recommend you avoid buying from the net, because jackets are very individual, if it doesnt fit exactly right, it will sit funny and you will hate wearing it.... (I know because I have a nice leather jacket in my closet but never wear it... not that it fits anymore but still).... Collins leathers seem to be awesome price, great credibility, and awesome quality.... And if it doesnt fit, you can send it back and they will send you a new one....

That is just frightening!
What worries me with this, is that learners who may be on a tight budget will buy this crappy gear, which will probably be as good protection as if they were squidding it
