Hey All,

My name is Jeremy and I am still waiting on my first bike to be finished being rebuilt.

Bike is a Kawasaki ZX2R A model. Cant remeber what year.

Story is, a few years ago, the guy broke a cam guide and consequently blew the engine, thought stuff it, I'l pull it downand fully rebuild it to be a track bike. He blasted half a wheel and most of the frame and thought stuff it again, went out and bought a new CBR 1000.

So he is continuing to build it up all nice and new, everything will be new or rebuilt, apparently a hybrid A and C model engine to make a 278cc and custom paint etc etc.

I don't know very much about it at all, and am tyring to learn as much as I can along the way.

Its my first bike, after many years of learning about cars, I now need to learn about bikes some more. SO here I am!

Hello everyone,

Jezza

Cheers Guys,

Just a quick question in here first....

Im trying to get some new tyres for this bike but I can't seem to find an answer as to exactly the size and profiles of tyres required for the ZX2R A model...Any ideas?

Thanks

Welcome aboard

There's a couple of ZX2R owners in here, throw up a post in the 'wheel & tyre' section. I'm sure someone will know what size and profile you need. They will probably tell you where to get them too.

Cheers

Mike
