I kno a few of the guys here have mentioned flowers and such, and this is one solution....

Wendy Van Gasteren

C/o Centennial Park
760 Goodwood Rd
Pasedena SA 5042

this is the funeral place. We will all be taking 1 red rose ...

alternatively there is a chosen charity which i dont have details yet, but its an aged care assosc which Wendy has devoted a lot of time to- caring for the aged.

Sounds like a good idea, Nath and as I mentioned, I'll be marking the event in my own way here today.

Big hugs xx

Thanks guys...it was nice...and as good as a funeral can be...
the audotorium we had wasnt big enuf (i suggested yesterday that if all those who knew Wendy were to come, we'd need to change the venue to AAMI stadium)...

the service was short, sweet, to the point (how she liked shit) ...and then we mossied on to the site..as it was abt 30deg we didnt stay long..just long enuf to pay respects to W and TJ (the young girl who was involved)...

then we headed up to the Vic..were a few celebratory drinks were had (some of us didnt), and a toast was performed....

there were wheelies, burnouts, stoppies...bikes, cars and i think i saw a scooted sumwhere... she woulda loved it....

thanks to every1 for ur support and mateship thru this hard time...
