G'day to everyone here.
I would like to thank this forum for all the great info here swayed me into buying a GPX250 and I absolutley love it.
I have had my L plates for 2 weeks and last weekend purchased a 2nd hand GPX250 2006 with only 2,200kms on it. It's almost like a new bike, already done 300kms in the last 4 days.
Here are a couple of snaps I took when I got it home. Click on pic to see full size pic.

I am thinking about mods to do to it. I want to install an alarm etc. When I leave it in a carpark etc. I have a large padlock I put through the rear sprocket to stop it being moved.
Thanks for reading this, and many thanks for all replies received.

Welcome mate, I ride a GPX too.
Re locks, check out Xena XR 1- it is a great little lock with built-in alarm, costs about $50.
What other mods have you got in mind?

Hey another Adelaide rider. Welcome
We might get 5 peeps on a group ride now.
Better do it quick before 1/3 of the Adelaide riders on here have to walk.

GPX has 37Hp, stock. VTR250 to compare has 32. One of the more powerful 250 twins around.

I got myself a Xena XR 1 disc lock today from the local Kawasaki Dealer for $59.95.
About the pipes, I saw this thread at kawariders and thought those pipes looked awesome.
