Hey guys, im looking at getting tank sealant for my old bike, but im not sure where i can get it. Anyone know if i can get it at supacheap/similar carshop? Im just looking at getting it and am keen to avoid ordering via post due to the flammable nature of some of the kit.

I was in Supercheap the other day and saw that they stock POR-15. It's great stuff - I've sealed tanks with it before. I got mine from a bike shop, though.

Saw POR at an Auto paint store . Check ya prices , bike stores always seem a bit more expensive for stuff you can get at other types of stores I find .
And check the shelf life , slow moving stock like that can be going off if they have been sitting around for the last few years

thanks z9/900, however it'll probably be worth the extra $20 or so thanks to postage, etc.. if i just go down to my local supacheap (30 minute or so walk from home). That is unless you can think of a way to post flammable liquids without too much of a problem ;)

Looks like im paying suapcheap a visit shortly!

Checked the price at "Just Paints " local to me and POR 15 is $70 for a motorcycle kit . They sell several a month  with only positive results .

The Kid,
Just finished doing a 29 yr old Z tank with POR-15, great results and good finish, doing another one this weekend.
The POR ppl posted mine to me from Sydney no problems.
They also have website, I think its http://www.POR-15.com.au, its easy to find on Google anyway.
Cheers

Tony
