Me... The first forum I joined was the UK Motorcycle news forum. Everyone there was known as " Fast R1 ", "Rocket CBR" or my favourite ( who I see is still there) " Fastasfuck123". I chose to be typicaly laconic and Australian and just go with "Slow and Wobbly". Dont have to live up to anything with that name!
Why did you choose your screen name?

Why did you choose your screen name?
Was interested to find out how and why people arrived at their chosen screen name here at KSRC and for some on other forums.

It stuck.

Re: Why did you choose your screen name?
ive had 3 names:
cambo - coz its the contraction of my surname- campbell
cambo: version 2 - coz cambo (first one) died in the great KSRC crash which happened a month after i joined, so i created a newer, improved version of myself
sneakypete: because i am very very sneaky sir. And its what i used everywhere else, so i figured i would make them all same.

Re: Why did you choose your screen name?
Because it's my name, Bill - and it's what all my hobbies (bikes, scuba, aviation) seem to leave me with - and I was looking for something that related to Kwakas and the 'z' works better for that than an 's'. Simple really.

Re: Why did you choose your screen name?
When I got on the 'net in the dark ages (well, 1996) I wanted a nick that was completely opposite from me - something that sounded a little dark, exotic, sexy (just think Esmeralda Villalobos, the taxi driver in Pulp Fiction). So, I came up with Esmerelda. Fast forward a couple years and no-one could spell the nick, plus I was lying to myself with the dark exotic sexy thing! So, I shorted it to esie, and have had that ever since.
Cheers,
Anne
