i was just wondering what tyre types, sizes and pressures would be the best for my 89 zx2r. cheers

probably the best advice to get is from the place where you normally buy your tyres. Tell the dude what sort of riding you do, and he will fit the right ones for you.

Tyres are a really 'personal' thing, what works for your mate may not work for you and vice versa.

either that....or we will end up with 5 pages of insults.....

probably only 2 pages mate, there aren't too many ZX2R riders out there !!

since when do they have to be relevant to the particular bike for the folks in here to sling shit at each other??

let the slinging begin...............running pirelli 110/70 diablo front.........pirelli mtr202 140/60 dragon rear......no real complaints.........rear gets a bit scittish.......probably the rider..........so no real help but an option

being that i havent ridden one of these, let alone owned one..id suggest u take my advice

seriously..find a goof reputable tyre guy ..ask him his opinion...i personally dont like dunlops....

as for pressures... the tyre will give u a reccomended setting... set that and see how it feels... if its feels like its not turning and its sluggish, add a couple of PSI to the front...if it feels skittish and like the front is moving, drop a couple... see where that gets u...
