As far as I can tell, the rider lineup for the 08 season is:

Kawasaki Racing - Anthony West, John Hopkins

Repsol Honda - Nicky Hayden, Dani Pedrosa
Gresini Honda - Alex De Angelis, Shinya Nakano
LCR Honda - Randy De Puniet
Konica Minolta - Andrea Doviziosa *edit

Fiat Yamaha - Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo
Tech 3 Yamaha - Colin Edwards, James Toseland

Marlboro Ducati - Casey Stoner, Marco Melandri
D'Antin Ducati - Sylvan Guintoli, Tony Elias

Rizla Suzuki - Chris Vermuellan, Loris Capirossi
Team KR - Kurtis/Kenny Roberts

and it looks like the control tyre idea is out the window...

I suspect for Edwards it was Tech3 or bust ... he's hardly set the world on fire on a factory Yamyhahaha has he.

edwards still gets the full factory bike as part of his deal to move to tech 3..but toseland gets the customer bike..WTF?..but rossi may end up on bridgestones...now that will make for an interesting team. as much as i like/admire rossi, whats the go with having 1 bad season with tyres and whingeing to move tyre manufacturer? i dont think much of that..

exactly... im suprised he's still there!!

he did nuthin with Aprillia (granted they were shit)... struggled on Honda..now he's done nuthin with yamy....with all these kids coming thru (Jorge, Dani, Casey etc) in the last year or 2, its pushing the avg age of riders down, and eliminating many "once was"'s...

i think you'll find that dovisioso is on the konica minolta bike

personnaly i doubt it, i'd say the team scot guys will bring thier own sponsorship

Except that TKR hasn't advised if they will be providing a team or not. And if they do, they wont be using Honda engines. Rumour has them running Ducati engines.

What about the supers??
