Hi Apples, great to see you made it onto the best biker forum around !!!
I started on a diesel (CB125) back in the 70's, but my first *Big* road bike was an RD350B !!! What a machine.......it taught me a lot about handling and acceleration !!! Bloody thing was a rocket compared to most of my mates bikes, which were all diesels as well.....(CB250 Hondas, etc) - the biggest bike in our group was a CB500/4 !!
I got the triple in the early 80's, not long before I bought the Black Pearl. The triple is an ex-GP bike, came with heaps of spares, it didn't run real well in the early days, but once this was sorted well FMD it used to pull wheelies and went like a cut cat, it scared the shit out of me. It was faster than an almost-new fuel-injected Z1000 !!!!
Its sitting in the 4th dimension, waiting for next Christmas to roll around.......

just quickly back on topic (rarity in here) ..that was a nice video- the "square " motor is sumthin ive never seen before...quite different ... kinda weird... kinda sexy...
