Schuberth make BMW helmets (and fire fighting and other safety helmets)
but unfortunately I don't believe their own helmets get here

Thanks Ian.
One of the guys on the US-based Hornet Forum I'm on PM'ed me asking if they could be found here. Apparently from what he was saying they aren't sold in the States either, so maybe they have trouble passing the DOT certification.

It's not really about that. The Schuberth is rated as one of the best Helmets in the world. They make BMW's helmet range, which has no trouble passing AS1698 or DOT!
