Factory Pro Billet Engine Covers - Opinions please

Has anybody used, or seen used, the billet engine covers flogged by Factory Pro? How about crash tested them? They're not cheap, but if they save farking up a trackday 'cause they hold together after a minor spill then I can justify the expense.

Better than some crappy carbon cover

...id say worthhwile investment Dave but I have never had any so
cant really comment appart from

Thinking about it i have seen some on a spuzuki 600 track day bike ridden by an ex MC marshal a while ago & after a crash that ripped the fairing off ... the covers held up & were still in use last time I saw the bike

Cheers Rob. They are a couple of hundred $$ more than just replacing the busted stator cover but, if fitting them means you get to finish a $200 trackday then I think it's money well spent. Any other opinions or experiences?
