I like Laurie's work, but he's now semi-retired and the queue to get my frame straightened is over a month long, perhaps longer if LA takes another holiday before he gets to mine. I don't begrudge him his time off, but I'd like to get my bike rebuilt before winter is upon us. I'm looking at some options for another frame, but wanted to know if you know anybody else who does frame straightening, preferably in NSW.
Cheers,
Dave

Surely LA can offer an alternative if he can't do it? Used to be Bob martin engineering here in Vic but they've been closed down by Vic Toads I believe so nfi who does it here anymore either...

Dave Kellett in Brissy does a good job. Strange man but might be worth a shot.

Closed by choice because of Vic roads beauracrcy not by them. Semantics perhaps but make sure the facts are straight. Nothing wrong with their work at all and nothing untoward.
Just remember the Google Bots and how quickly rumours can explode here on the internets.

I probably could have worded that better, never meant to imply anything was wrong with their work.. done a fine job on the old ZZR, lets hope I don't have to go there with the 9... cos who knows where to go now..

Would it be cheaper to buy a 2nd hand frame ,rather than straighten the old 1?
Just a thought.
