Baby Ninja's

Post by felixxr6turbo »

Well, went for a look at the new 08 Ninja 250R.

First impressions...

Great looking bike, massive mudflap, bit dated dash, needs handle grips changing... I brought a mate along who has his licence and sent him out on a test ride. His daily is a 600 semi naked, hes the same build and height as me, so I thought his opinion would be a good judge of the bike. Well when he got back the massive grin on his face and colourful language to describe the ride kinda said it all. He couldnt believe how much fun the bike was, although slow, he thought it didnt even mattter. He thought the bike was very forgiving and he could really throw it into corners and have some fun with it. The test bike was the shop demo, and it had already had a hard time in its short life, throttle had a bunch of slack in it, was pretty scratched up and no doubt it had no run in done. He knows me very very well and could not suggest enough how perfect this bike was for me... some might think he was getting a kick back from the dealership

2 hrs later...

Well i'd only gone in to 'look' at the bike, I ended up putting a deposit on a black one. I just loved the look and the feel of the bike (yes even tho i wasnt riding it) I then proceded to spend 3500g on gear

So now I just have to wait, I wanted to get on the waiting list as I think there will be a greater rush on these in the next few months once the new laws come in up here. I am booked in for my Qride course, and as I am doing a commencing course on the 30th of june I will get my lic under the old laws :P Rest of the course is in end of july and bike arrives mid august...

Pretty pumped, sorry for the long rant, just thought I'd share

Hahaha, yeah at one point I did say that to the guy. Shoei TZR sentry helmet with bling visor, teknic violator leathers, gloves (inners and outers), draggin oilskins, sidi vertigo boots, crash knobs, rear seat cowl, and yoshi slipon.

I just couldnt help myself
