Didn't take me long to find a problem with that...I wont read any further...

A bit of common sense and some basic physics will explain exactly how and why it does work...something about one force being in a different direction to another comes to mind.


Do what the manufacturer says, is what I say...

i've seen this b4 and obviously it is a HOT topic..... i think if i ever had a brand NEW bike tho, i'd be following what the manufacturer reccommends, not some weirdo on the net.....
who knows? i'm not a mechanic!

When some guys I know buy a new bike, they often wheelie them from the shop... I've never heard them tell me they've had problems.

They rekon ride em in hard to go hard.

These guys ride hard everywhere...

They do change the oil alot tho.

I didn't run mine in hard, but I didn't cruise it in either.

It's your bike, make your own decision... :)

yep been on the forum b4 and LOTS of opinions
most thought not but a few thought this article was on the money.....

I went for take it easy for the first couple of hundred as per the manual to make sure it wasnt going to develop any bad bangy or knocky engine noises then rode it fairly normaly till about 700km but it was all up and down mt glorious and mt mee sort of to 8000rpm because that 4000rpm stuff seemed stupid then i changed the oil and took it too willowbank but it didnt really free up properly till the 2000km mark.
