My new shorter exhaust

Decided to trim the fat off my exhaust. lost a fair bit of length (150mm) thought i'd show some pics too.
here's the finished product next to the left over.

my brother thinks it has a little bit more of a "throaty" sound (whatever the fark thats meant to mean), i thinks its just louder. haven't taken it out for a spin yet to hear it on the road. hopefully will be out this weekend.

Looks great Dutchy, nice job. Those c/f cans look a bit easier to shorten than a bloody Yoshi S/S Slip-on !

It wasn't a hard job.drilled the heads off the rivets and slipped the ends off. the core of the exhaust slipped straight out. it wasn't attached to anything, it was held into place by the ends. then just cut the length of the case and packing in one hit, cut the core to match, re drill one set of holes and put in the new rivets. job done, new shorty can and a little extra noise Nice!
