Hoon driver clocked at more than 150km/h in 2008 Aston Martin

A WANNABE James Bond ended up on the wrong side of the law on the weekend after being clocked at more than 150km/h in his Aston Martin.
The $350,000, 2008 model luxury car was impounded by police for 48 hours under the state’s hoon laws after a helicopter from the air wing
detected the driver travelling at more than 50km/h over the speed limit on the Bolte Bridge on Saturday.

The Fawkner Traffic Management Unit eventually intercepted the 33-year-old driver in Coonans Rd, Pascoe Vale South.
The man, from Derrimut, is expected to be charged on summons with traffic-related offences.

Acting Sen-Sgt Mark Beyers said police were out in force to catch dangerous drivers.
“If you drive like an idiot you will be caught” he said.

Ya gotta wonder why in an Aston Martin even bother with 50k over? I mean ffs you can do that in an EH holden, get with the program and make it 150 over at least!!!!!!!!

Car like that should be good for 300kph easy.

Maybe he was slowing down cos it had developed a mechanical fault already.
