Fuel Pump

We were having a lovely old ride today up around Macedon, just the five of us, until I started to lose power.
Of course being on the end of the line I had to wait 10 mins for assistance after she finally came to a holt on a steep uphill incline.
I nearly got cleaned up by a group of Harley Riders as I tried to push the Bitch around so I could roll back down the hill to a flatspot to do an inspection.
We had to return to Bannockburn from Blackwood to get the Bike trailer, then back to Blackwood, then back to Leopold where I live, (great day off!!).
I think it's the fuel pump because I could start her for short periods untill I prodded the pump and then nothing.
Anyone know how much the pumps are? or if you think the cause is something else!

Thanks for the quick reply and the price shock!
I'll fit it myself and do the Camchain at the same time, but $350, shit it's only a tiny little thing.
We have a Bursons two doors down so I'll give Kon a ring to get part No and then walk down.
Cheer's for that :kuda:

Search kawasaki fuel pump. Several models are very similar, i.e. they look the same and will fit the same mounting, but there may be some differences in the diameter of the fuel line.
When you are searching ebay try ZX11 and ZX1100 as well. That turns up lots of stuff in the US.

Followed the manual, pulled everything to bits, side fairings off, tank off, fuel pump out, no hoses blocked and the pump worked on a battery.
Decided to go with the electrical side and BINGO! Fuel pump relay doesn't work correctly with the bloody red wire broken off!!!!!!!
All fixed now but I noticed yesterday searching the forum, but can't find today, a guy was saying he only had six volts at the pump wiring connector.
That was the reading I got at the pump when the red wire was broken.
Thanks all and thankfully it cost me (and a few mates) nothing but time.
