Twitter ?

Wikipedia: "Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users' updates known as tweets."
Users can send and receive tweets via the

(SMS) or applications such as
Tweetie, Twitterrific, Twitterfon, TweetDeck and
feedalizr. The service is free to use over the Internet,
but using SMS may incur phone service provider fees.
What a crock of shite! I fail to see how or even why the momentum is taking off for it.. am i missing something?

No - I don't think you're missing anything.
I'll probably hurt someone's feelings, but to me Twitter sounds like something for those who think everyone else wants to know everything they ever do during any day.
Sounds a bit like facebook too doesn't it

I once watched a guy send a text with his bare left hand while riding his bike along Geelong road, then slipped it into his cargo shorts pocket on his leg when he finished.
Stupid? Absolutely yes, but the skill was very impressive.
