Kawasaki Sportsbike Riders Club - Australia - Online Forum

Well after a long time waiting (to get my full license) i finally got the opportunity to step out on the zx6 this morning.

Now all i need to do is go out on a day which isnt freezing! Lucky i had my neck warmer....

I have put up some pictures so you can see how i have spent the last 6 months of not riding the bike. Sorry for the poor quality, it was taken with my phone and it was pretty early.

As you can see in its non-riding time the bike has received important additions as tinted screen, exhaust, stickers and blue brake / clutch levers.

Thanks I like it. Don't know if i can actually be considered part of a riding club yet. My riding skill level doesnt really warrant such a title

It wasn't really all that tempting to ride. Every time i thought about it, i remembered how much effort i put into doing the MOST test and how i really didnt want to have to start over again. In saying that, there were lots of times i wanted to ride it, but just couldnt justify the risk.

I really do need to find out where this "pie in the sky" is.

I have heard a lot about it, but no idea where it is.

on the Old Pacific Hwy between brooklyn and cowan have a look in the regular sunday ride thread

thats a gorgeous 6 you have there, Yes the wait is truely annoying but as you have said the risk does not warrant the thrill of a joy ride up the road.

We're not a riding club.......we're a social club that rides to and from events
