Z750 Fuel Injection Warning Light (Fi)

I have a problem and I want to find out how serious it may be.
I have a 2008 Z750 called Zoe.
She had her fuel injection (Fi) warning light come on the other day & I am concerned for her health.
She makes all of the same sounds she always does, no change there.
There is no noticable difference in performance of any type.
She is not leaking anything.
While at home she is covered but at work she has to brave the elements.
She is cleaned every weekend by hand.
She had a power commander 3 installed about 1500km ago.

What could the problem possibly be and will it be expensive?

and...

Should I:

a) Get the shop to pick it up?
b) Ride her straight to the shop?
c) Wait until her next service about 5000km away? (I commute about 15km/day Mon-Fri and ride every weekend.)
d) Forget about it? It comes on all of the time.

Any advice would be handy!

it will be something to do with the PC3. but dont rear, someone who knows will be along shortly, i'd still ride it. if you are worried, you could unplug the pc3 and just run it normal off the stock ecu. 8)

The 10 Crim that I owned had the fi light on all the time but that was due to an aftermarket pipe being used & the butterfly in the exhaust removed..... bike ran fine & put some tape over the light so it was not a distraction.
On my six I had the light come on the other day, lasted the length of the ride than next day was fine..... I would not be too concerned about it just get the shop to have a look at the next service.
If you are able try watties suggestion to see if that gets a result .... at least you will have an idea of the problem area ;)
& Personally I would have no hesitation to ride the bike 8)
